Bantam
2014-10-05CCMHA wanted to inform our Bantam aged players that a decision has been made to go with a second provincial team at the A level. I have been speaking to Truro and a tentative schedule has been made which would involve teams from Truro, Antigonish, Pictou and of course Cumberland.
Our ice time scheduler will arrange for at least 1 practice (try out) this week. We were able to identify several players through the Bantam AA tryouts but to be fair we want to give any other interested players the opportunity to come out.
There have already been exhibition games scheduled for Friday night (October 10th) in Amherst at 7pm and in Truro at the new arena at 1pm on Saturday October 11th. This gives families the opportunity to enjoy thanksgiving.
Please watch your emails and our website for any practice time updates. We are also looking at this point in time for coaching applicants. Please let myself or Jo-D MacDonald know if you are interested.
Please note that we will have to ensure that everyone has taken a recent checking clinic.
